• Lindsey Truitt

Lindsey brings her lifelong love of the natural world and over 40 years experience as a landscape designer, gardener and contractor, to Our Wildlife Habitat. She began quietly including natives in her professional projects many years ago and now landscapes almost exclusively with them. In the garden she is both practical and inspired and she isn’t sure if her greatest love, other than her family, is trees, flowers, birds, frogs or insects but understands that native plants are essential to them all.

  • Alan Kirk

Alan grew up exploring Rock Creek Park with various dogs and credits the park as an important reason that he has remained a lifelong DC native. After a career in business and finance, Alan now fills his time with birding, cooking, golf, removing invasive vines and planting trees.

  • Sally Truitt

Sally grew up with her gardener sister in DC and moved to Colorado where she raised her two children. Lindsey comes to Colorado to make Sally’s garden a Wildlife Habitat. Sally is an artist, musician and computer programmer who brings her technical skills to Our Wildlife Habitat.
